FAQS
Got questions? We've got answers

What are electrolytes?
Electrolytes are essential minerals that are vital to many key functions in the body.
What's in SALTE?
SALTE contains 800 mg of sodium, 400 mg of potassium, and 60 mg of magnesium. Natural flavours and stevia are added to the flavoured variants.
When should I drink SALTE?
Use it first thing in the morning, before, during, or after exercise, when dehydrated, or anytime you need electrolyte support. Keep in mind: it's more effective to replenish electrolytes ahead of time rather than trying to catch up after they've been depleted.
How do I mix it?
Simply mix one sachet with 600-800 ml of water and give it a good shake.
How many servings per day?
New research indicates that 4–6 grams of sodium, 3.5–5 grams of potassium, and 400–600 milligrams of magnesium per day support optimal health, ideally from whole foods.
SALTE helps cover any dietary gaps. Many find 1-2 sachets per day effective, depending on their activity. Start slowly, pay attention to your body, and you'll know when you've hit the right balance.
Does it break my fast?
No, it does not break a fast; in fact, it supports your fasting efforts.
Is SALTE only for people on a low-carb or keto diet?
We set out to create the ultimate electrolyte drink mix. While it's naturally low in carbs and perfect for keto diets, SALTE is designed for anyone looking to meet their electrolyte needs without compromising on quality or adding unhealthy ingredients to their routine.
Can I drink SALTE during my pregnancy?
In general, electrolytes with salt (sodium), potassium, and magnesium can be safe to drink during pregnancy, especially if you’re experiencing symptoms like dehydration, morning sickness, or excessive sweating. Staying well-hydrated is super important during this time.
That said, since every pregnancy is different, we always recommend checking with your doctor or midwife before adding any new supplements to your routine — just to be safe.
